A day of two halves!

Saturday was the wedding of Peter and Ashley at St John's Church, Birtley and wonderful Close House, Heddon-on-the-Wall. It dawned windy, wet and bitterly cold, which didn't bode well for the day's proceeedings, but after an exuberant if freezing start, the skies cleared and by evening we were basking in beautiful Northumberland sunshine-which was nice, as the Nelsons and Turnbulls were the friendliest, most welcoming bunch you could meet, and they deserved good weather. Congratulations Peter and Ashley, thanks for a fab day and enjoy your honeymoon!

Jane and Gary

Saturday was the wedding day of Jane and Gary at beautiful Horton Grange in Northumberland. After a few days of decidedly "iffy" weather, Saturday was clear and dry. We enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the bride and groom's families, and after the wedding breakfast, the sun even decided to put in an appearance. Gary and Jane are one of the nicest, most loving couples and it shows in their images. Congratulations you two, and thanks for a lovely day.

Summertime blues???

No summertime blues here! Lisa and John's 50's style wedding preshoot was a total blast!
